Through the Dampier Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) we transport gas directly to mining, industrial, commercial and power generation customers. We also transport gas to distribution networks in Perth and other towns to provide energy to homes and businesses.
We understand that the safety, reliability and security of the pipeline are important for our customers, and to support economic prosperity in Western Australia.
Every five years, we submit a plan to tour economic regulator, the Economic Regulatory Authority (ERA). Our Plan for the period 2021-2025 is due to the ERA in December 2019 and will set out how we plan to invest in the DBNGP that delivers for current and future customers.
Our objectives are to develop a plan which:-
Delivers for current and future customers;
Is underpinned by effective stakeholder engagement; and
Is capable of being accepted by customers and stakeholders
In July 2018 we prepared our draft engagement strategy and circulated it amongst our stakeholders for feedback and to explore engagement preferences & issues of importance. We responded to feedback and published our Stage 1 Report which summarised feedback and our final engagement plan. These reports are available under the publications section of this site.
In May 2019 we released our Draft Plan for consultation. A copy of the Draft Plan, fact sheet and media release are available under Publications and Media tab.
Shipper Roundtables
We have developed our Plans in together with our customers (known as Shippers) through a series of Shipper Roundtable meetings.
All agendas, minutes and presentation material are available in the publications section of the site.
Preparing our Final Plan
We are continuing to refine our plans in preparation for lodgement with the ERA in December 2019.
